  12. A user has a Compaq PC with an internal Compaq 3205A Fax Modem.
  13. The modem came with some software for sending and receiving faxes which
  14. seems to work.

  16. However, he now wishes to use Trumpet Winsock to access our disl-in PPP
  17. service, but we cannot get the modem to connect satisfactorily to the
  18. dial-in service. I am sure that this is just a case of initializing the
  19. modem correctly, but the documentation that came with it is skimpy to say the
  20. least.

  22. Can anyone point me to more information/reference manual etc for this
  23. product please?

  25. The modems on our end of the connection are Multitech M2834ZDXs.
